We’re Here
Learn MoreHealth
We serve the physical, spiritual, and mental health needs of neighbors holistically by facilitating access to sustainable food, supportive community, care management and access to healthcare.
Education
We strive to build a more equitable future through education, recognizing that our current path is “more separate & less equal” than it was 50-years ago. Thriving schools lie at the heart of any thriving community and foster tomorrow’s leaders.
Residences
We seek to transform our residential housing crisis by confronting the root causes of housing discrimination. Only by acknowledging and addressing these complexities can we build communities rooted in equity, justice, and healing.
Employment
We believe that supportive employment can disrupt the cycle of poverty that has been perpetuated by systemic injustice by giving people the tools and support that we all need to achieve economic stability and build a brighter future for our families & communities.
A Community-Centric Approach
We must move beyond food handouts, and instead create community-run grocery stores supplied by community-run urban farms. We are tired of referring people to temp agencies, and instead work to scale community businesses that create jobs, revenue, and dignity. We reject the school-to-prison pipeline, and instead envision an ecosystem of support around students and educators that makes a classroom-to-higher-education pipeline the new norm.
By building relationships of reconciliation for restoration & justice, we seek to move beyond relief efforts to naming and restoring systems that have been unjustly broken for far too long. Only then can we accomplish a true level of compassionate understanding that allows us to use our privilege for the privilege of our neighbor and create restored communities–today and tomorrow.
